Hi,
Can you please tell me the technical and/or business considerations which decide whether to use BPM/BRM/BRFPlus?
Technically,we use BPM and/or BRM in case of java envoronment, say,SAP PO,other than that what are the other java environments/technical/business considertations we use BPM for?DO we always need to use BRM with BPM ?If not then what are the requirement we use them independently and together?
Are the phases of the project which are blueprinting, implementating, testing which are applicable for BRFPlus are also applicable for BPM and/or BRM?Or there are different ones for these??
Thanks in advance
Of course you can use BPM without BRM and vice versa BRM without BPM.
Best Regards,
Tobias

Please have a look at the following document: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-26748
Hi Tobias,
Thanks for the guidance.
I have gone through the blog, its really very useful when it comes to choose between BRM and BRFPlus based on ABAP or JAVA background.
Are there any business considerations apart from the ABAP or JAVA stack ones the decision to use either BRM or BRFPlus is based on?
Also, when do we need to use BRM alone and when is it needed to use BPM along with BRM?Any technical or business considerations for the same??
Thanks in advance
This is difficult to answer, but let me add some thoughts:
I could add more bullet points to the list but my message is: to understand this question it would be useful to hear about the use case.
Best Regards,
Tobias
Hi Tobias,
Thanks for the very useful reply.
Can you please let me know the following
1.BRFPlus for ABAP and JAVA for BRM is the only criteria for choosing either of these or there are other business requirements that makes decision to make of either of these? An example would really be useful,if any
2.If ABAP there are ABAP + Non SAP systems in the landscape, then what to use ?
3.If the landscape is having SAP PO which is single java stack + non-SAP systems, then what to use?
4.If the landscape is having ABAP+JAVA(SAP PO single stack)+Non-SAP systems what to use?
5.What are the critera or business requirement, any example, wherein we need to use both BPM and BRM?
5.About your comment
BRM ist used in SAP Process Orchestration.
Is is like BRM is used in SAP Process Orchestration or BRM is not used in Process Orchestration?
6.When do we use BPM independently and BRM independently?
Thanks in advance
OK, I'll do my best:
SAP PO integrates PI, BPM und BRM so using BRM is natural: http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/NWTech/SAP+NetWeaver+Process+Orchestration
