Exporting data from BO XI R3.1 SP3 into Excel format

Hi All,

When I am Exporting data from BO XI R3.1 SP3 into Excel format, It is
automatically saving in excel 2003 (xls) format because of that some columns
are missing as we have restriction in excel 2003 that only 255 columns would be
appearing.

Is there anyway we can save it in 2007 format(xlsx) so that we can accommodate
all the fields.

you dont have market place login credentials ? as per my knowledge in BO XI 3.1 we will have only xls  format and it was resolved in BO XI3.1 SP6 .

KB 1669621 indicates that we have to install the Service Pack 3 on top of Microsoft Excel 2003, so that it opens the .xlsx file.

which version of BO you are using  with which service pack

I am using B0 R3.1 SP3.

which excel is intalled on your machine 2003 or 2007 ?

'Export' is for the raw datacube, which is the layer previous to any report formatting.

' Save as' Excel' has the dialog options  "prioritize formatting" or "prioritize data"

I have excel 2007 installed in my machine.I have checked the preferences "prioritize easy data processing in excel" has been selected.
