Maximum quota exceeded for privilege leave- Time management

Dear Team,

When employees trying to apply leave it show the following error:-

“maximum quota exceeded for privilege leave”

employees is having enough leave balace.

Kindly suggest!

Dear Mohammed,

I have check the table V_T554S, the details are below:-

Start date 01.01.2001  end date 31.12.9999

Min- 005 & Max -999


When employee apply the leave through ess they can apply less than entitlement, when apply directlt in R/3 its take entire entitlement.


Kindly suggest asap!

Dear team,

Suppose employees is having PL=24 days

Employees can apply only 19 days through system.

Rakesh,

to solve this issue please check he validity and deduction validity of the PL quota.

and check the V_T554S table maximum field.

First try to create that PL leave type for same dates in ECC side PA30 and check is it allowing or not.

Dear All,

Kedhar- No leaves are pending, less PL quota are applying than entitlements.

Srikrishna- I have check V_T559D- No validity date mentioned

Hi Rakesh,

Why you have a record for 1 day quota instead for a year.

In many clients PL is annual say from 01.01.YYYY to 31.12.YYYY.

So Maintain only one record for year with quota number and apply leaves.

If Quota is generating using Time Evaluation (PT60) you have to check configuration for validity periods.

can you place the screen shot of Time Accounts overview of this employee from ESS.

And also from ECC side IT 2006 screen shot for current year.

Dear Srikrishna & Reddy,

Client is using positive time management through time evaluation & every month employees geting 2.5 days leave.

How to past the screenshot, please let me know the process?

Hi Rakesh,

Check the log running  PT60 and see what are the start date and end date of PL Quota.

Check complete config related to PL.

Hi rakesh

Check validity intervals for PL in  V_T559D & T559V.

As you said PL is monthly even the first record end date should be 28.02.2014

If it is yearly and crediting PL monthly, then start date must be 01.01.2014

Coming to second record end date is wrong.

Do you checked PTARQ display document for the employee if any applied leave is in pending status?

what is the deduction process you had maintained for your quota.

Hi,

Pl leave is carry forward through time evaluation on monthly basis, while SL is on annul basis.

SL leave is working fine.

We have configure like

PL Min.5 & Max 999

SL Min 1 & Max 15

Employee is trying to apply 29.04.2014 to 08.05.2014.

One thing i have notice PL is show in two row. when we carry forward beganning of year then start & end date are same (01.01.2014).

As per my understanding which is wrong.

Why they comes two row?

Hi

Check any applied is pending for update in R/3 or approval is pending in PTARQ.

while checking the data through pa30 then chose (Absence Quotas) 2006, find the following screen.

Client is using positive time management & they have carry forward the leave through time evaluation.

Hi

Let me know that for which date Employee is applying leave, can you paste the ESS error here.
