Interactive WEBI reporting

Friends,

We have a requirements where we want to enable WEBI as interactive tool where clients can create reports from our company website. We have a Company website which is not SAP EP. Today we have static crystal reports where users log in and access these reports.

For example. We have a BW query which has 10 fields. When the Clients logs in to our website they should be able to create adhoc reports, drill down reports based on these 10 fields. Can we use WEBI for this? is there any BO tool for this requirement.

     You will need to create a UNX against the contains the 10 Fields using the IDT (Information Design Tool).   Once the UNX has been properly created then you can use WebI to create the Ad-hoc reports over the web.

Hi Ajay,

Thanks for your reply. The client will have access to our Website. There will be no BI launch Pad installed on client machine. Once the client log in how do they launch WEBI or get access to these 10 fields?

       You still need to create a UNX that be leveraged by WebI.  You have two options:

- You can create stating WebI document and create a URL directly to that WebI link for doing ad-hoc

- You would need to use SDK to by-pass the BI Launch pad and direct them as needed.
