Hi Experts,
Can we integrate the UI5 application in the SAP Portal version 7.02 SP12?
Is there any manual step to configure the UI5 iView template?
We tried to integrate as bsp iView and not succeeded since the app url is automatically assign the ui5_ui5 in the navigation url.
Please provide your recommendation if you have any.
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Senthil
Hi Senthil,
UI5 application integration into portal is available from 7.02 sp11.
Did you check SAP note 1708020 - 'Support of UI5 based on applications in the portal'?
Thanks
Lorraine

Hi Lorraine,
Thanks for your respone.
I have referred this note and i am not able to find the below path in the current portal,
Create UI5 iView: navigate to Portal Applications -> com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap -> UI5.
Looks like it is patch level issue,
our portal version is 7.02 SP12 Patch level:0
In the SAP Note, it is mentioned as 7.02 Sp12 Patch level : 8
Could you please advise?

Senthil
Hi,
The SSO is not working still.
We changed the authentication as
<auth-method>BASIC</auth-method>
I think the problem is with the method(appintegrator) of iView creation in the portal.
Let me explain the steps,
1. SSO is configured between Portal and NetWeaver gateway system.
2. The Portal UI5 iView is created using the com.sap.appintegrator.sap --->UI5
3. I have configured the iview with the below details.
HTTP Request Method : HTTP GET
Relative path for SAPUI5 application : /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/z_****_***_split
System : SAP_NWG
Launch : Display in Separate Headerless Portal Window
Any clue on this?
Thanks in advance!

Senthil
