Which has more scope in Future? HANA-BO or BW-BO

Hi All,

I am new to SAP and I am confused that which platform should i choose for my better career either HANA-BO or BW. I already know about BO tools and have worked (Dashboard, WEBI, IDT, Design studio(learning)). Now I would like to learn HANA as it has more scope in future.

My confusions are

1. Can I Start learning HANA or still do I need to have some real-time experience in BO then learn HANA

2. Or get some real-time experience in BW so that HANA can be learned easily (I know BW modeling and bex but not real-time)

Which would be best for my career. Please help

    You can start learning Hana , No need as already you have experince its depends on your interest. a

2 .Or get some real-time experience in BW so that HANA can be learned easily (I know BW modeling and bex but not real-time)  :

   Hana & BW Data flow will be some what similar , I will suggest you to learn HANA  for future prospective.

For HANA  also  BO needed as  front end reporting tool , as you have already experience in BO it will be advantage   in future for getting more opportunities.

As you already have some experience in BO, so I would suggest you to learn HANA and then use BO as a reporting tool for HANA Models.

Hello Mathivanan,

After reading your question, I'd suggest you to first get some real-time experience in BO or BW. Then, perhaps, go for HANA. But, there is no harm in learning HANA before you actually work in a real-time environment.
