BOM Product Proposal In CRM

Hi all,

I have successfully been able to replicate BOMs from ECC to CRM for the use of product proposal. I have also maintained the relevant relationships within the Product Hierarchy, however when I hit the product proposal button in a service order in the UI, I get an error message saying "No Products for Product Proposal Found"

I have confirmed against the product in COMMPR01 that a Service part ERP BOM exists.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dana,

Yes I solved the issue. In COMM_HIERARCHY you need to do the following:

For the header material category assign relationship types: BOMITMS, BOMHEDS and PROREFS

     Also add in the set type "PREF"

For the proposed products category assign: BOMHEDS

Also ensure that you download the from ECC with FRESH material data or else the updated cateogry characterstics won't apply.

Aside from this, what can also catch you out is if you have you stardard Material categories set up wrong and even the Sales/Service Orgs which should apply to the Materials.
