Distribute Annual Salary to Periods message in Basic Pay Infotype

Hi Friends,

We have an issue when maintaining the Basic Pay info type for few employees. We are getting a dialog box "Distribute Annual Salary to Periods" when changing the value for a Wage Type. This doesn't allow to save the values in the info type.

What we noticed is that the Period Salary is the sum of the amounts of the Wage types, and unless it matches, this dialog box remains on screen. Always trying to match the amount won't be a solution for the user.

Can anyone tell why this dialog box pops up? Kind request to share your inputs for the same. Has anyone come across such an issue? Maybe if someone could advise what's the reason behind this dialog box.

This validation/rejection may be due to config of BSAL - its purpose is to match/validate as above.  It can be modified by user code in PBEN0010.  In your case, you may need to allow minor fractions (e.g. up to $1) as tolerable.
