Change in Contract after being Released

Former Member

Hello Everyone,

I have configured a Release Procedure for contracts and Assigned the changeability release indicator to 4.

The requirement is configure the release procedure so that any changes in value, quantity, item text ... etc should trigger a new release.

How can I configure the system to meet the requirements, given that I have used the release indicators changeability fields 1 through 6 and still didn't meet the requirement?

Thanks & Best Regards,

Yousif.

hi yousif ,

use changability factor 1, so it will not allow u to change contract after release and if u wanna change u have to unrlease the contract. b'coz no standard functionality exit for text change ,

i hope this will help u out , otherwise try for exit.

Thanks Everyone for the quick response,

Let us consider I used the Customer Exit, what exit should handle this scenario?

Hi Yousif

M06E0004, M06E0005 and M06E0008 are relevant.

But, I doubt whether they would be useful to you here.

Hi Yousif

Use 'not changeable' indicator. This means, you need to cancel the release befoe making any changes. Then any changes would trigger the release procedure again.

Hi Yousif,

If you have created a characteristic as "total Contract Value"giving communication structure CEKKO - field GNETW in additional data tab it will take care of resetting the release in case of change (only increase in value) in value or quantity which ultimately is related to value. But I am afraid change in texts are not generally taken care of for changing release.
