Hi Experts,
I am trying to install Mobiliser platform 5.1 SP03 on redhat Linux system of AWS cloud.
I have installed httpd 2.2 server on mob-web-1 server and it is running fine.
But when I include Include /opt/sybase/httpd/conf/mobiliser_httpd_ssl.conf directory in
the Apache HTTPD server configuration which is the destination configuration located in:
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf (on mob-web-1) , I am getting following error:
Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 8 of /opt/sybase/httpd/conf/mobiliser_httpd_ssl.conf:
Invalid command 'SSLCertificateKeyFile', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included
in the server configuration
[FAILED]
So please help me to fix this error.
Thanks and Regards,
Sagar M Patil.

Hi JK,
Thanks for sharing the link.I appreciate it. Can I follow below mentioned link for installing mobiliser 5.1
SP03? If so, what are all the changes do I need to incorporate during installation process??
Thanks and Regards,
Sagar M Patil.
Hello Sagar,
As a result of the implementation of Apache SSL configuration, on RHEL, there is an additional configuraiton procedure that you must follow.
However as a pre-requisite please make sure that the following packages are installed on the target host. Note: This is REQUIRED before proceeding with the configuration procedure.
httpd:core Apache httpd setup
mod_ssl:Apache httpd SSL module
Once the packages are installed properly, all appropriate depndencies for the configuation procudure will be resloved. If you need assistance on installing these pre-requisite packages please reference the RHEL documention at either URL respectively:
Now that your pre-requisite packages are installed please perform the following for a successful Apache SSL setup for Mobiliser:
Configuration Procedure:
There are 3 configuration directives that can be migrated from the ssl.conf file, that is packaged with Mobiliser, to the ssl.conf file that is on the operating system. By copying the proper directives to the RHEL ssl.conf file you can solve your issue.
1. Locate the RHEL ssl.conf file at the following location
/etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf
2. The default directives in the RHEL ssl.conf file are as follows
SSLCertificateFile /etc/pki/tls/certs/localhost.crt
SSLCertificateKeyFile /etc/pki/tls/private/localhost.key
3. Change the directives in step 2 to the following
SSLCertificateFile /opt/sybase/httpd/certs/server.crt
SSLCertificateKeyFile /opt/sybase/httpd/keys/server.key
In addition to changing the directives described in the first 3 steps, a configuration directive needs to be added to the RHEL ssl.conf file. This will need to be added into the <VirtualHost> directive; it will be easier if you add the configuration towards the bottom of the directive to keep track of changes easier:
4. Add the following statement in the <VirtualHost> directive
Include /opt/sybase/httpd/conf/mobiliser_httpd_locations.conf
Example:
<VirtualHost_default_:443>
...(Configuration)
Include /opt/sybase/httpd/conf/mobiliser_httpd_locations.conf
</VirtualHost>
Please let me know if this resolves your issue.
Regards,
Marcus Walker
Hi Marcus,
Thanks for reply.I have followed the steps that you have mentioned. Now httpd server is running.
Again, do I need to add directive :
Include /opt/sybase/httpd/conf/mobiliser_httpd_ssl.conf
in the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file as mentioned in the guide??..Or is it enough to follow the steps
that you have mentioned.
Thanks and Regards,
Sagar M Patil.
Hi Marcus,
I have followed the steps that you have mentioned. Now httpd server is running.
But when I execute /opt/sybase/money/bin/startup.sh script in mob-aps-1 , I am getting the errors in /opt/sybase/money/logs/mobiliser.log file. Is it because of not including
Include /opt/sybase/httpd/conf/mobiliser_httpd_ssl.conf directive in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file ?
Please look into moboliser.log file contents.:

Sagar,
The error messages that you displayed are in relation to the Java keystores that you should have created during the installation process. The Java keystore installation process is covered in the "Security Keystores" section of the installation manual. If there is something in that section that is unclear I can try to make it easier if you have a specific question on that subject.
As for the Include statement that you inquired about, that is an Apache httpd configuration and has nothing to do with error Mobiliser container that you provided the error messages for.

Thanks for your reply. While configuring security keystore i dint get any errors.Only thing that I noticed was with respect to default password of java keystore. When I tried to change the default password from 'changeit' to some other say 'XYZ' it throwed an error saying that, keystore is tampered or password is incorrect. So I made use of "changeit" password and didnt get the errors. Is it necessary to have have same passwords for both java keystore and the keystore that we create inside server folder.
The passwords do not have to be the same, just as long as you keep track with all of the passwords. A complete, secure Mobiliser installation requires a lot of passwords and if you don't keep proper track of them it will be easy to misconfigure the platform.
I recommend that you may want to use the same password for now until you become more familiar with the product and how all the components communicate/authenticate with each other.
Thanks for your reply.
Is it mondatory to configure security keystore section of the mobiliser 5.1 sp03 installation guide?
If not what are the default usename and passwords to be used to start working on mobiliser.
One more thing to clarify.
Can we install mobiliser on windows? If so, any guides availabe?
Regards,
Sagar M Patil.
Yes the configuration security keystores are required for the installation and need to be created in the manner explained in the instruction guide.
Mobiliser can be installed on Windows as well. There are no official guides out at the moment but I do have a draft that I have been working on that can walk you through the process. The guide is much like the installation guide with the exception that it uses Windows paths and commands. If you would like to see the draft please send me an email.
Waiting for your response regarding drafts.
One more issue I would like to share with you.
I have installed ASE 15.7 Database setup in windows and trying to install mobiliser 5.1 sp02 in windows. I have successfully ran the following mobr5 schema creation command :
isql -Usa -S<hostname> -P<password> -i/opt/sybase/db/sql/001_MONEY_drop_and_create_user.DDL
After that, I am failing to run the dbmaintain file. The process is halting and not continuing further. Is the syntax that I used is correct?Following is the screenshot of running scriptarchive.ase.jar against dbmaintain
SOo please help me to fix the issue. Also, provide me the drafts.
Thanks and Regards,
Sagar M Patil
Sagar,
There is not much I can do to help based off of this screenshot alone. I have been able to successfully perform the installation on an ASE database with the Mobiliser package that is available.
When you try to execute the scripts in your environment please just wait until the script completes or an error message is produced.
Without providing me an error message the only thing that I can assume is that your system environment is slow and it is taking a long time to execute the scripts. Based off of the screenshot it looks like there is no issue connecting to the database you set up.

Sagar,
I have sent the guide to you for a second time last week on 8/29. I am not sure why you are not receiving this e-mail. According to my side it has been delivered. As you can see from the picture I sent a test email first and then sent the guide again.
You will need to check with your e-mail administrator to see if there are any restrictions in place preventing you from receiving emails from an internal SAP address.

Hi Sagar!
Right now I am installing the version SP4 PL2 and I have the same problem that you had. I am trying the Marcus's suggestion but I have a lot of problem when I try to restart httpd, I am working on that. Besides, I have the problem of the password of Java keystore when I started mobiliser. I used 'changeit' for both servers. The first time that I ran mobiliser, I didn't get this error, but then I shutdown the machine and started it again and ran mobiliser I got the error.
Did you fix this problem?
Regards,
Yurbelis
