Please please please do NOT physically delete the work items in PRODUCTION systems. It's sufficient to Logically delete them in SWIA.

Also please read this blog to understand why - last time I saw someone attempt this they were fired from their job.

Gentle reminder that this is an English forum.

Avoid SWWL. Unless your system is really out of date, SWIA should be able to do mass cancellations. If not, look on OSS, there's a note to enable it. Please make sure you cancel the top-level items.

SWWL has more than technical implications, transaction usage is recorded and if you have audit requirements such as PO approvals then it's not good to have a magic erase transaction in your records.

Hi Kumar

Try to find why 700,000 items went to a single user...is it an accident or a valid case. Do fix the root cause to avoid this in future.

Now for the answer to your question:

1) Go to table SWWUSERWI, USER_ID = 'USERNAME' and get all work items in in field WI_ID

2) Execute report RSWWWIDE (tcode SWWL) and paste all work item IDs ; make other fields empty - un-check "Delete Log Data as well"

This should be the LAST resort!

Dear Modak,

Thanks for your reply.

SWWUSERWI in this table there is no date wise selection but here 700000 lakh entries are thr so we are trying to slect based on the date.

SO is there any table to get user workitems as per the given dates.

Kumar

Hi,

write a simple report with  SAP_WAPI_CREATE_WORKLIST to find out  workitem of user. Then SWW_WI_DELETE delete that workitem

Dear Anjan,

Thanks for your reply.

Actually we are facing this issue in Production system.to write the report in dev system it will move to production it will take time.so without report creation is there any alternate way with any std fm or any T-code to delete that.

Thanks.
