Attendanc not deduction from Attendance Quota

I configured an attendance and attendance quota and I want the manual deduction to happen from the attendance quota.

When I am trying to assign the attendance quota type in T554S for the attendance, and select manaul leave deduction as "2", the quota type fiels in T554S only shows absence quotas and not attendance quotas. This is very weird!!!Please help.

Did you assigned the screen number as 2050 for attendance type in table V_554S_N. Make sure it should be 2050 as screen number. And in table V_554S_A you will find the quota deduction check box.

Put the check box on it. Now when you do manual attendance type I am sure the quota will deduct as per your configurations.

Hi Ashish, I cant select the check box in V_554S_A because I am not using a countin rule to deduct quota. I am trying to use the manual deduction method to deduct quota when an attendance type is booked. But I dont find my attendance quota in the drop down for Quota type. As you said, I am using screen 2050.

I just managed to use the counting rule functionality to deduct attendance from an attendance quota.

Can you please go to the below node:

IMG → Time Management → Time Data Recording and Administration → Managing Time Accounts Using Attendance/ Absence Quotas → Time Quota Types → Define Attendance Quota Types

Check if you have selected radio button - Deduction through attendances.

Table for defining attendance types is V_554S_B and table for defining attendance quota types is V_T556P.

Unable to understand where are you facing the issue and what exactly do you mean by "select manual leave deduction as 2". Can you please elaborate.

Hi Shruti,

I am trying to use the manual deduction method for deducting an attendance quota using an attendance.

As part of this, I configured the attendance type and attendance quota type.

After that I went back to the full view T554S, and then under the section "Counting and Quota Deduction" there are 3 fields which I am trying to maintain.

1. Quota Type, 2. Grpg att/abs. for counting, 3. Manual Leave deduction.

When I get the list of values for the first field Quota Type, I dont find any attendance quota types but the system is prompting all absence quota types which is strange.

How do I assign my attendance quota type to my attendance type so that a manual deduction happens?     Please help.
