Hi All,

I am upgrading my Linux-based NW7.4 SP02 to SP06 and getting the following severe error:

The SUM logs (see attached) don't seem be to helpful for me to resolve the issue, as they don't explain much the error.

Have you faced with such the error and how did you resolve it?

Thanks a lot,

Victor

Hello,

EXECUTING /sapmnt/SUM/SUM/abap/exe/tp pf=/sapmnt/SUM/SUM/abap/var/PCMDIMP.TPP cmd all L74

This is tp version 380.13.43 (release 741, unicode enabled)

This is /sapmnt/SUM/SUM/abap/exe/R3trans version 6.24 (release 740 - 16.05.14 - 20:14:06).

unicode enabled version

2EETW169 no connect possible: "maybe someone set invalid values for DIR_LIBRARY ('/sapmnt/SUM/SUM/abap/exe') or dbms_type ('ADA')"

/sapmnt/SUM/SUM/abap/exe/R3trans finished (0012).

stopping on error 12 during CMDIMPORT

tp version is 741 and R3trans is 740. This is due to kernel mismatch. Updating the kernel in ../abap/exe/ directory should solve the issue.

Thanks Gaurav,

Updating the kernel reolved the issue.

Now I'm facing another issue at step 5.5:

Detailed log is attached.

Could you kindly tell me what causes the issue and how to resolve it?

Thanks,

Victor
