Characteristic Hours and Minutes

Hi All,

I need to create a numerical characteristic for use in a measuring point that measures hours and minutes, for example lets say the total counter reading is 3H 40min and the next measuring point input is lets say 25 minutes, the total counter reading should then be 4H 5min. SAP seems to want to convert it to a decimal. Have tried all sorts of permutations templates etc. Its important that min readings are entered but must convert to total hours when required. Hope this makes sense.

Any advise would be appreciated.

It is never possible to have measuring point with 2 different UoM. Keep your Measuring point with lowest possible UoM (in your case, Min will be lowest UoM) & enter the readings accordingly.

I'm not sure this is even possible as its two units of measure (hours and minutes).

Why not simply have minutes??

So 3H 40M becomes 220M
