Session Timeout Alert + login page has changed

Hello,

We recently updated our SAP CRM 7.0 from EHP1 to EHP3.

Since than we get this "Session Timeout Alert" error and it is very annoying.

I've changed the rdisp/plugin_auto_logout parameter to 7200 s but the session is still ending after about 10min.

On EHP1 we didn't had this problem.

Also it seems that the login page has changed because the username and password is not saved anymore and we need to introduce them every time we log in.

Please help to solve these problems.

Hi Csaba,


I had the same issue with you. it was fixed.

Solution:


Adjust parameter http/security_session_timeout and set it at least 200 seconds higher than parameter rdisp/plugin_auto_logout.

We implemented the note 1877120 still the issue is not resolved .

Still session gets timed out in 30 minutes

My rdisp/plugin_auto_logout parameter is set to 7200 so yesterday i set the http/security_session_timeout parameter in RZ10 to 7500 and restart the server.

Today, after 5 hour's it seams that the issue is solved.

But i steel waiting for feedback's form users.

I didn't implemented the note 1877120 yet.

Do you also have the user and password remember problem?

http/security_session_timeout I have set it to 7500 in RZ11 ..since its dynamic I have not restarted the system , BUT MY ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED , I am not SURE sytem restart can help here ?

Did SAP ask you to RESTART the system ? post setting parameter http/security_session_timeout ?

My issue is also not solved!

The server restart was only another possible solution.

Very annoying!

Hi Sudhir,

Something I discovered:

The CRM is very sensible when the user change the time or date at the pc.

So if you have(like me) some software that require data change or time change, the CRM will logout.

So i need to remove or disable this security check.

Hi Csaba,

We found a fix ..if we have a web dispatcher , hte PROC time out in webdispatcher and ICM should be same

http/security_session_timeout  set  per note 1914112

For parameter icm/server_port_0      set  PROCTIMEOUT value to 7200 in webdispatcher* same value as in ICM      System restart to make the parameters effective .

This worked .

Hello,

I created a sap ticket and the response was like this:

You have to change the parameter http/security_session_timeout  atleast

200 seconds higher than the  value of the parameter rdisp/plugin_auto_logout .

I will try the sap solution tonight and test tomorrow.

We have tried it by changing the values http/security_session_timeout by  200 seconds higher than the  value of the parameter rdisp/plugin_auto_logout.

But it didn't work for us.
