Assign Dashboard to BW Role afterwards

Hello

In BEx it is possible to publish a Query to a role when ever I want to.

In Dashboard Design it seems as assigning the dashboard to a role is only possible during initialy saving it. I have not found a way of doing this afterwards (except for saving it with a new technical name again).

I also tried to assign the dashboard directly to the role in BW, but this didn't really work either. The dashboard did then not appear in the dashbaord design when searching for it.

Also please check the below Note :2001264 - Role SAP_QAP_BW_DASHBOARDS does not exist in system Which speaks about the default role for the predefined dashboard, but it also explains about the role creation and required authorization.

I am not sure, if a missing authorization is the problem. I am able to create a role and I am able to assign the dashboard to a role, but only in a first step. I am looking for a way to assign the dashboard to a role afterwards without having to save it again under a new name.

Like this publish to role which I have in BEx.

Hi,

Kindly assign technical name of your dashboard to  S_RS_XCLS role component and if you have developed this report on Bex queried you have to add these Dashboard reports to that particular role.
