Errors while creating connectors via ESH_COCKPIT

Hi All,

I am trying to set up search for TMC. Error occured while creating search connectors under EA_HRGXX for TREX via transaction ESH_COCKPIT.

RFC Link is defined.All the HRTMC connectors are selected and select Create, system does not return to the COCKPIT main window instead it gives

following error messages as per the attached file.We are working on EHP 7.

Please let me know what can be the possible solution to the mentioned error.

In EhP7 you need to select just the HRTMC connectors and not all connectors, otherwise it will try and index the BI connectors too.

Hi Luke,

Thanks for your response.

I have selected "HRTMC" connectors separately under EAHRGXX and this time the error is different.

All the 32 connectors went in "Error while Preparing" state and attached is the snap shot of the job log.

Could you please have a look at the errors and advise what can be the possible solution for this.

Check in ST22 to see if you have an error.

Hi Neha,

You need to apply SAP Note 1957582. You may find that you also need to apply further patches per SAP Note 2034533 as ESH has changed quite a lot in EhP7.

You may want to log an incident with SAP if you have further errors after applying those notes.
