Issue with Retention Period

Former Member

Hi

We have Monthly Jobs with Retention Period as 6 Months.

However, once the instance of the job gets complete, I am not able to see it

Can anyone assist me on this and walk through different Keep Parameters that Redwood CPS has to offer?

Current version - M33.85-65736

Thanks,

Bhushan

Hi Bhushan,

Is the Job definition part of a job chain?

If yes, the keep clause of the job chain overrides the job definition's keep clause.

For example, even if the  job definition has a retention period of 6 months, and the job chain it is part of  has a retention of only 1 week, then you will not see the job definition runs for 6 months.

In order to overcome this, check the keep force option, and then reschedule the job chain.

Thanks

It is part of Job Chain. However both JD & JC have retention period of 6 months

What do you see when you right click the job definition and select "monitor related jobs"?

What do you see when you right click the job chain and select "monitor related jobs"? Do you see the job definition when you expand the job chain?

Can you check the Keep force option and try?

Thanks

Monitor Related doesn't show up any instances of the Definition either under Job Chain or directly with Job Definition

I'll try with Keep Force though

We have two separate tracks, one for CPS and other for Cronacle. The same configuration works fine for Cronacle though

Thanks !
