Could any bodyplease  tell me if there is/are any licensed toolto recover those tracks.

What version is your NWDI? If its 7.0x, did you install the SAP JVM6 and configure the build variant and set it for each NW 7.4 track?

Hi Stefan,

Please find version info as per below:

NWDI version :  7.0

NW is on  7.01

and JVM ;  JVM 4.1

Thanks

Hi Kamal,

You need to install JVM6 on your NWDI, and configure a build variant for your new NW 7.40 tracks (do not use your 7.0 tracks!) . The variant is required in order for your SCs to build with the correct JDK (ie Java 6). Take a look at this thread for more info.

http://scn.sap.com/thread/2079515

If you have not done so already, you will also have to create new SC versions in your SLD that use the updated NW 7.40 build plugins and add these plugins to your CMS inbox.

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for your suggestion.

However ,what about the custom codes devloped in older version.

Don't we need to recompile them? This is where we are stuck,as we are not finding ways to get back the source code.

Thanks

not just recompile, you have to do manual migration.. a lot of work.
