We are implementing QM_NOTIF_SRV in our system:

EHP7 for ERP6.0 on Netweaver 7.4

UIEAAP01 Release 100 SP-Level 0002 (UI for Central Applications)

From the /IWFND/ERROR_LOG we receiver error:

Database lock for Service 'ZPAGE_BUILDER_PERS_0001' could not be set

From the "Call stack" in /IWFND/ERROR_LOG we can see that METHOD ENQUEUE_SERVICE is the top event in the popup.

Class: /IWFND/CL_MED_SIN_DBA

SE11 Lock Object: /IWFND/E_SVC_GRP

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In our Fiori Launchpad we click on the "Report Quality Issue" tile - and we receive popup: "Error: Failure - Unable to start App"

Other apps are running ok - like "My Purchasing Document Items" - it is only for QM_NOTIF_SRV we are receiving errors...

OSS note 1949475 = Document is not released ?

The issue is resolved by implementing the note 2051350.

Now, all screens are coming up and moved on to individual apps setup

Hi Prem,

Are you sure that the number of note is correct?Cause it is devoted to NWBC configuration: Theme parameter is truncated. Not Fiori Actually.

Hi Imran,

we created a OSS message 8. August - and SAP responded that this is due to a bug.

But we have not received any fix yet...

The service is CUST instead of PERS and we have also raised an OSS ticket, but no response yet.

Hello All,

Even I have the same issue , I am implementing HR Renewal 1.0.

My system is based on ERP 6.0 EHP7 i.e. HR components in EHP7 level.

One basic question -I believe the Netweaver gateway 740 and SAP UI 740 are enough to implement HR Renewal 1.0 FP 3 Mass hiring or do we have to install any additional gateway and UI components?

Kindly help. I am getting the landing page but it is not displayed in right shape, when I checked /iwfnd/error_log I saw the error Database lock for Service 'ZPAGE_BUILDER_PERS_0001' could not be set.

Unable to deduce if there could be any missing s/w components the reason.
