FTP Server Error while loading data in SAP BPC

Hi All,

Issue with data loading in SAP BPC -  FTP error.

Any idea who had gone through this or anyone knows about such kind of issue.

Please find the attachment - It shows the error message.

Hi Kanishka,

You simply don't have connection to FTP server - ping shows no response from the host 192.168.20.251. In theory ping can be disabled on this host, it's better to test with ftp client.

Ask your network administrator.

Thanks. There is no issue in network. Please find the updated Screen Shot.

Ping is successful. Also we had checked through OS level FTP Access from BI/BPC server it is working fine. Please advice.

Can you test the exact path you use in BPC on FTP server?

Please, check FTP logs to see the connection attempts from BPC server.

Log is not displaying, I hope it is because of data load fail.

When tried through normal system it is showing the log with success , But tried with failure purposely through local system it is not showing the log.

Kindly find the success log.

Then you have to analyze traffic between BPC server and FTP server with appropriate filters. I am using Wireshark application but your network administrator can use any. You have to see the attempts to connect to FTP server and some error responses. Then you can understand what's wrong.
