Greetings Peach,

When you go into transaction IP10, does the next call have the status "Hold" or "Save to call"? Can you post some screenshots?

Also, check in t-code SM37 whether there is a periodic batch job running for you for the ABAP program RISTRA20

If not, you will have to schedule on, go to t-code IP30, input your various selection criteria for the Maitnenance Plans that you want to generate Orders for, such as:

Maintenance Plan category

Maintenance Plan sort field

Maintenance Strategy

then "Execute in background" and schedule it for a particular time (typically outside of working hours at night) and with the "Periodic job"  flag.

How you are running scheduling?? IP10 or IP30??

Run daily batch program for Order scheduling in IP30. There are many threads & documents available for setting Background Job.

Immediately after TECO of Preceding order will not generate any Subsequent orders. It should be done via IP10 / IP30 scheduling only.

Run it in IP30, it will create the Order.

Attach the below mentioned screen shots.

  • Maintenance Plan Cycle tab of Maintenance Plan
  • Maintenance Plan Scheduling Parameters tab of Maintenance Plan
  • IP10 of that Maintenance Plan
