Shipment Data Integration to Export Dec

Hi,

I need to integrate data from the shipment to the export declaration and could use some assistance. Two peices of information are the forwarding agent and the packaging/handling unit information (we pack in the shipment, not the delivery).

Hi Jeff,

Wouldn't it be really nice if GTS could provide that integration?  Maybe you'd care to promote my "idea" on that topic?

I have also integrated the Shipment packaging on a couple of occasions.  Of course if you are combining Deliveries, it might make sense to pack at that level.  You will need to do a little development in the standard BAdI /SAPSLL/IFEX_SD0C_R3 to read and include packaging and the Forwarding Agent partner, but a good developer should be able to handle that quite easily.

i'll take a look at that.

Also, have always been curious why the shipment does not integrate to GTS becuase that's where all items are defined for the truck/export, at least for us,.
