Dears folks,
I'm trying to execute transaction IW8W and I expect that the transaction retrieve automatically from the service order the serial number but the serial number is not retrieved and I cannot insert it automatically.
The serial number is present in the service order.
Activity done
I'm stuck at pont 4) because the serial number is not retrieved.
Any idea?

During material issue against the PM order you must maintain the serial number of the item you are sending for repairs. Speak to an MM expert if not sure how to serialise the material.
When you perform IW8W the material number will then default the serial number you issued as a goods receipt.

I have asked about any configuration change on standard or are you using the standard system configuration.
If you have changed nothing in configuration side, I have no idea currently why serial number is not coming in IW8W. Also, I have no system with Refurbishment Process configured, so I couldn't test your scenario.

Have you maintained the serial number at PM Order level??
Also, have you changed any configuration for PM04??
