BPC 10.1 Unifed - is NOT enabled in this server.

Hello all, we have  test environment.

BW 7.40 SP7

HANA rev 81

Trying to use BPC 10.1 Unified scenario.

1.SICF services activated

2. In table RSPLS_HDB_ACT  activated BPC_ACT

But when trying to run BPCWEBCLIENT

http://<hostname>:8020/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/bpcwebclient/index.html?sap-client=200&sap-language=EN

We getting error:

No connection - SAP Business Planning and Consolidation is NOT enabled in this server. Please contact your administrator.

What does it mean and how to fix?

Hi Mikhail,

the contents of the table RSPLS_HDB_ACT has to be

BPC_ACT       X  (switch for BPC 'embedded', former 'unified')
HANA_ACT     X (switch for PAK)

Have you checked this?

Thanks Gregor - this helped us configure SAP BPC Unified on our S4/HANA instance. We were missing the flag:

HANA_ACT     X (switch for PAK)

Hi Gregor,

I had the same problem.

The installation guide does not mention HANA_ACT. Somebody should tell SAP!!

You should not require a Platinum level to know these things.

I added it and now everything works just fine.

Hi Martin,

in fact this setting is mentioned in section 3.3 in the installation guide, but unfortunately only via a link to the BW-IP/PAK note 1637199 and there you can find the setting in the 'solution' part in the first bullet point.

I admit, it is not convenient to follow all these links.

Hi Amar,

The table is below:

We are hoping to get the fully fledged version of SAP BPC NetWeaver installed onto the S4HANA box soon to do some Standard and Embedded modeling on S/4.
