We are planing to upgrade ehp4 to ehp6 through ehp6

what are the pre requisite for the same

like file system space how much it will take we are going to choose stand alone mode instead of shadow

what is down time difference for same

The guides provide you all the required information you need to upgrade your system.
The Master Guide - SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 provides important information about the installation sequence and the components to be installed. It also links to all other documents that are required for the implementation of a specific scenario.

The standard tool to install SAP ERP Enhancement Package 6 on top of SAP ERP 6.0 as well as upgrading a previous release to SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6 is the Software Update Manager. Software Update Manager (SUM) replaces SAPehpi as well as SAPup.

Maintenance Optimizer offers the download of the required Software Update Manager for implementing the Enhancement Package. You find details in SAP Note #1626435.

You can download the relevant packages from SAP Service Marketplace as below or order the relevant DVDs while opening at ticket at component XX-SER-SWFL-SHIP:
