EEM Question

Hi !

We wish to record end user transactions for say a month or so, to depict patterns in user/system behavior, address user/performance issues proactively, educate users in case of user mistakes etc....something like what AppDynamics does.

EEM scripts may not really serve our purpose since the script runs only for a particular duration / as per the parameters in the script; whereas, we wish to capture "all" that a user does in his 8 working hours.

Is there a way we could use EEM to our advantage.....

Or is there some other way we could achieve this.....

Please do help advise.....

Hello Saba,

EEM is for recording HTTP, RFC or SAPGUI script. After that, the script are uploaded and run by some robots (diagnostics agent) in different location and replay them to check for performance and availability of business processes

EEM does not monitor user activity so it is not the scenario which will achieve better tracing of user activity

I do not know of any scenario which would systematically trace transaction within solution manager, to provide more information than SLG1 gives for instance

Only thing I would suggest is to have a look at Root Cause Analysis scenario/workcenter and trace analysis to check if it would help you :Trace Analysis - Root Cause Analysis - SAP Library
