Hi Pranay,

Please notice that in case of a Java Only system, the Exchange Profile

is obsolete.

However, you are able to change its properties in the following

location:

http://<server>:<port>/nwa/sys-config

-> Services

-> XPI Service: AII Config Service

Please kindly check the SAP note below for further information:

#2049794 - How to change/add Exchange Profile properties in PI 7.31

and PI 7.4 (Java-only)

This will help to some one, who don't know.

Patan Thavaheer.

Hi Reza,

When doing the PI Initial setup, getting struck at step 54 -

Error: Port Number must be in the range from 1 to 65535

Step: Check SLD Access for PIAFUSER

It is a fresh installation for PI 7.4 SP8. Please suggest..

Hi,

Maybe a function is called without a port number? SAP Note 1309239 -> 1c might reveal further information?

In case you run several CTC sessions at the same time, cancel one of them. Complete/continue the other. Later, restart the first one.

Thanks

Reza

Hi Amar,

At last if it is not Works,

Please cancel the process (even the original one), change status to 'disabled' and restart the configuration ('enable automatically').

Of course you could manually configure, but that is not the point, i.e. http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73/helpdata/en/57/f4 7fd4fe534a1a948476afb65dd983/frameset.htm 🙂

I hope it helps.

Hi Reza,

I have disabled in Functional Units but it is still showing as "Currently Executing" status in Configuration wizard. Is there any option for Force Cancellation?

Thanks

Any Solution?

I am little confused with the solution given in the SAP Note 1525193, To where do I need to create the RFC destinantion? My system is a Java only system.

I do not have user PILDUSER created in my PO system.

Thank you!

For now you can assign the role "Administrator" in UME to any user and create the RFC destination.

Did you validate the execution steps under the configuration task to see if the RFC destination to Exchange profile has created?

You can even execute the wizard for self test and see what is missing.

Is it a fresh installation/Upgrade?

If so did you execute the post installation steps?

Though below note is not applicable to you, i would suggest you to check if the destination is created by the configuration wizard? If not you can create one and see if it helps.

Create Java RFC destination XI_EXCHANGE_PROFILE manually: Navigate to http://[host]:[port]/nwa --> Configuration --> Infrastructure --> Destinations. Create the RFC Destination with PILDUSER as logon user.
