IPM- Intellectual property management

Hi Experts,

Am looking for IPM set up in the system, gone through links available in SCN, service market place.

Hi Bhargavi,

I guess you have the answers from the links you posted regarding IPM but still I will answer your questions:

1. What is IPM

IPM is Intellectual Property Mgmt module and is a flavor of SAP CRM. You will need to get license to this specific module from SAP.

2. Why do we need IPM

It can be implemented in Media / Publishing companies to manage their acquired Rights to IPs as well as sell their own produced IPs.

3. Any configuration / BB config guides are available

Yes there is a configuration document available to maintain the settings required to configure IPM. Let me know your email id and i can forward it to you.

4. What are the configurations to be done

Answered above.

5. Integration req with which system / or integration not required

You will need an ECC system to further process finanacials post sales.
