SAP Inactive objects found while ehp upgrade from ehp3 to ehp7

Dear All,

I am doing ECC6 ehp upgrade from ehp3 to ehp7. while SUM checking the system for inactive.

please help me how can i resolve this issue as i am able to find all 39 objects in the system but when i go and activate it ask for access key.

is there any other way i can activate all the objects ?

We had similar problem

Function RS_WORKING_OBJECTS_ACTIVATE

can be used for this

where

SUPPRESS_CORR_INSERT            X

to avoid transport creation popup

We needed to do this for some SAP  classes on the training, test & production evironment, while implementing an EHP.

Creating transports as of note 1882203  did not help

Using function above is easiest anyway, as long as you can run code on the environments

Yes i have check the file REPACHKT.ELG file and i have gone throught this note as well and found all sap inactive objects in the system.

but my question is how can i activate all SAP inactive objects without using access key as there are about 39 sap standard objects for which system is asking.

You do not need an access key to activate inactive objects. I have never seen such a prompt while activating the inactive objects.

Just follow the solution mentioned in the SAP note mentioned above.

Hi,

you can try to find if these were changed by applying any SAP Note.

Try to check which SAP Notes were applied with Transport request for which you have inactive object version. And then see if those Notes were applied properly.. if not, then deimplement them and apply them again.

Hi i have done manully generated all the keys and activated all 39 inactive objects to active

are you able to execute directly FM SUBST_GET_INACTIVE_SAP_OBJECTS with SE37 in your system ? What is TIME_OUT settings ?

What I see is a TIME_OUT issue. Check whether there is an ABAP dump generated and if yes you may review it.

Did you repeat the phase ?

Hi there,

Try SE80 find the Inactive Objects (from the Pull down set  "Inactive Objects" and  search), Activate

them all and release the Transport Requests you activated to.

Notice that whiel Activating these Development objects that belong to SAP Namespace, you may have to register them on Service MarketPlace (SMP) . i.e get an SSCR Key and give it to SE80 during the activation. Ask your developers the should be familiar with this process, if you're not.
