IDT Freeze and Issues

Hi All,

We recently installed BI EDGE 4.1 SP03 at a client site. Issues are below.

1. Every time when i try to create a relational connection in the repository resource area IDT get freeze. After about 15 minutes i get to create the connection. why is this happening?

2. When i go to the database middleware selection i only see SAP and SAS. other drivers are missing. even when i try to re-install the drivers i face the same issue.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi,

On the point 2 is it happening also with local connection? or when you will create local connection then you can see all drivers?

See mentioned SAP note 1998320 - Information Design Tool (IDT) is missing datasources for JDBC or ODBC.If this is relevant for your issue.
