Unable to mark old Emails 'Complete' in SAP CRM IC

Hi Experts,

One of the user is facing a wierd issue where he is unable to mark an email complete for old emails in his agent inbox.

He is able to mark new emails as Complete with no issues.

Any clue on why this could be happening only for old emails of his ?
