Sample Quantity

Hi

There are 3 plants like 1001, 1002 & 1003.

They are taking GR in plant 1001. In plant 1001 quantity is coming in quality. In same they want to captur sample quantity.

Samle quantity they will transfer to another plant like 1003. Plant 1003 user will do the testing.

On the basis of user RR & UD in plant 1003, plant 1001 user clear the stock of 1001 plant.

Here user want the link of both plant inspection lot or any other link.

Hello,

When you post GR and Qty will be in QA stock during reelase you can post the sample aty in SAMPLE USAGE @ inspection stock posting tab. Whenyour QTY posted in SAMple usgae then you can transfer the qty from sample usage to your second plant via MM route and based on the results from 1003 plant you can record the the result of existing remaining lot qty which is in your QA stock.

secondly, you can use partial sampling process in your scenario and create sample and send it to second plant for testing w.r.t PO and GR.

You don't explain how you get the sample quantity out of QI in 1001 and transferred to 1003.  How are you intending to do that?  That will determine how you get traceability from plant 1001 to 1003. 

I'm not quite exactly sure what you are looking for.  And probably few others are either since you've had no other replies yet.

Getting the sample quantity is also pain area for me. But user want sample quantity to be capture in SAP at the time of GR against PO. Please suggest how sapmple quantity will capture?

Once sample quantity is capture then same quantity will transfer to another plant.
