Hi Madhu,

You can refer this discussion where there is a link for SAP Best practises for IDOC loading methodology in market place. Where you can find predefined ATL files for Excel Source and several ERP systems as target.

Hope this will help

Sure, our Best Practices for Data Migration solution is completely built around extracting data from legacy systems and/or files and loading those data into SAP using IDOCs. Refer to SAP Note "1791183 - Rapid Data Migration to SAP ERP and SAP CRM V2.41" for how to gain access to that content.

I have already a job for migration, but in the support the requirement is  as below

The below is my actual requirement

From the business Users i will get a XL Sheet with all the data, the xl sheet contains

Material_Number  Material_Group_Num   amount

111111111           33333333333               11111.00

222222222           44444444444               22222.00

444444444          55555555555                33333.00

Based on the master Number i have to update only the  master group  fields in SAP  tables

I need a data service job to do this, i know what option need to be given in idocs to update a particular field, i need the whole flow of the job

Hi Madhu,

Go to this link and Download the migration best practise for ERP system . The ATL file contains the jobs which have dataflows containing extraction , validation enrichment and loading.
