Subcontracting Process-SNP Dependent demand quantities are not as per PPM

Hi SCM Gurus, 

We have subcontracting process, wherein, post we run the heuristics, SNP Dependent demand quantities are not as per PPM master data.   Kindly let me know, what could be the reason.

Hi Sai,

Please provide more details. If dependent demand qty is more as compared to PPM master data, you may check if these are coming from any other header material.

Hi Umesh,

I understand your view point and I checked in the SNP Planning book in the respective keyfigure Dependent Demand details and found it is not coming from any other header materials.

Let's assume there is a Product X, and the PPM Maintained for it is

Output ProductX=100 EA

Input Product A=100 EA

Input Product B=100 EA

Input Product C=25 EA.

Note 1:Source Location (Vendor)= 102335;Destination Location: 1900

Note 2:

1) Transportation is created via purchase info record from ECC

2) PPM directly created in APO.

If I manually key in 100 EA in the Keyfgure: Receipts (Subcon unconfirmed) with the selection profile

Product X and the Destination Location 1900; Click Location Heuristics Icon in SDP94 Tcode), system creating

1) KEYFIGURE: RECEIPTS ( SUB UNCONFIRMED):

SNP Purchase Requisition-Subcontracting (Category: ET) for Product X(with Source 102335 and Destination 1900)= 100 EA;

2) KEYFIGURE: DEPENDENT DEMAND :

SNP Dependent Demand (Category: EL) for Product A, B & C= 100, 100 & 25 respectively.

above results are as per the PPM Master data maintained and it is good and

Whereas the results coming over heuristics executed in background are not as per the PPM Master data and it looks like below

SNP Dependent Demand for Product A, B & C= 100, 100 & 4 respectively.(which is wrong).

Please let me know...what could be the reason?
