Dear Experts

We have a requirement like holiday caleneder should be created for the year 2015  which is same as 2014 but one extra holiday is added in 2015 holiday calender  for may1st is holiday in 2015 and not in 2014  ....... now client is asking us to create the holiday 2014 also which is already passed as we are in July ..... so if we add this holiday in 2014 and generate the work schedule what would be the impact ?? in time evalution and payroll for the month of may 2014

Add the Holiday for 2014 and 2015 in the Holiday Calendar, and create a Workbench Transport to carry the changes from DEV to QAT, and eventually to PRD.

Re-generate all Work Schedule Rules related to that Holiday Calendar, retroactively to the month of the new Holiday and up to the last month of 2015 or 2016.  This second step will create a Customizing Transport to carry the changes from DEV to QAT, and eventually to PRD.

Once the changes are in an environment (DEV, QAT or PRD), use t-code PT_BPC10 to correct the Quota utilisation retroactively to the first day of the month of the Holiday in 2014.  Also force Time Evaluation retroactively to that same date.

Hi Giri,

If I understood your query correctly, client wants to extend the additional public holiday of year 2015 to year 2014 also.

Extending it to 2014 and generating WSR will flag the particular date as public holiday.

However, it will not undo any quota which got deducted for that particular date in 2014.

You will have to resave the leaves for that period to ensure that absence quota doesn't get deducted for the given date.

It will trigger retro time evaluation and payroll run and system will do the recalculation.

Thanks and regards,

Vivek
