Hi,

can we view the data in se11 thru set up tables names? if so then how do we find set up tables names, say for example if i am using 2lis_13_VDHDR then how can i view the data apart from RSA3 after filling up of set up tables? is there any chance to view the data thru se11 and with the set up table name? and if so then how do we find set up tables name?

Hi,

you can see the data in the setup tables: they are named MC*SETUP.

however this is raw data (LUW) which will be decoded for BW during extraction.

hope this helps

Olivier.

Hi Lieu,

The setup table names are extrasctstructure continues with setup.

ex: datasource name is 2lis_11_vahdr.

extract structure name mc11va0hdr.

setup table names are mc11va0hdrsetup.

But these tables are cluster tables.

you can't check the data directly from abap dictionary.

u can check the data in rsa3.

Thanks,

Ramesh.

how will we know that these are cluster tables, is it through <extract structure>setup and view them in se11??????? or any other way to know?

yes in SE11 you'll in the attributes of the table that it is a cluster table

but what's the point?? you want to see your SETUP data correct?

THE ONLY WAY is to RSA3/FULL on this DSource.

or LOAD IT FULL INTO YOUR BW at least to your PSA.

hope this helps.

Hi

set up table names starts with 'MC' followed by application component '01'/'02' etc and then last digits of the datasource name and then followed by set up..

we can say the communication structure (R/3 side, you can check it in LBWE also) name followed by 'setup'

for your example below is the name of setup table

MC13VD0HDRSETUP

If you want to check data in set up tables you better look at the transaction NPRT here you can see the table name from which data is picking also

Hope it helps

Thanks

thank you all for your quick responce, points have been assigned. but one more thing since u have told me that for eg:MC13VD0HDRSETUP

in se11 we cannot view the data but thru the Tcode--NPRT, i was not able to find any logs for it when i have chosen application component as 01-sales, in the name of run field what must be given??? i have checked in R/3 dev side and found no logs.

any inputs pls??

if you have records in the SETUP table, the only way to see them as extracted is to run RSA3 in full mode as mentionned previously.

if you have no records then you'll have to perform a valid setup execution.

hope this helps
