FIORI GRC Access approver app Missing Components?

Former Member

Hello,

I am trying to activate the FIORI GRC Access approver app.

The problem is that I cannot see the OData service GRC_ACCESSREQUEST_APPROVE in transaction /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE in either front-end or back-end server. However, I assume it is only required on the Front-end server.

System landscape:

Frontend server - a local gateway on ERP (NetWeaver Gateway and Fiori UI)

Backend server - central GRC server

Component UIGRC001, Support pack 2 is installed on both Front-end and back-end servers.

SAP Alias created using trusted RFC to connect system.

UI5 component GRC_ACREQ_APR can be activated in transaction SICF on Front-end server.

Are there any other software requirements that is not mentioned in the App implementation guide –Access Approver ? We have many other FIORI apps running successfully, so I do not think it is a general FIORI/Gateway configuration problem.

Hello Masa,

Since both back-end and frontend systems are 740, it is my understanding that SAP_GWFND replaced IW_BWEP?

GRC Server (Installed components):

SAP_BASIS 740: SP 0005

SAP_GWFND 740: SP 0006

GRCFND_A V1100: SP 0005

GRCPINW V1100_731: SP 0005

Hi Lukas,

IW_BEP is not required for ABAP 740 system.

Please check you can see OData GRC_ACCESSREQUEST_APPROVE version 1 on GRC server.

If you can not see it from ERP server, system alias or authorization issues are related.

Hello Masa,

I cannot see the OData GRC_ACCESSREQUEST_APROVE in the GRC server even though all required components are installed.  How do i determine how to correct this?

Hi Lukas,

Go to GRC server and call transaction SEGW.

Open the project GRC_ACCESSREQUEST_APPROVE.

Also check SE80. Open the Package GRAC_ODATA.

Please check you can see objects in both SEGW and SE80.

Thanks Masa,

  • All the components shows above in your SEGW screen print exist in our GRC system.
  • Package GRAC_ODATA exist in SE80 as well.

These are the Only GRC Services in /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE (on GRC Server)

Hi Lukas,

It is strange. Do you see runtime artifacts in SEGW?

You can try with UIGRC001 SP03 and GRCFND_A SP06.

Hi Masa,

The runtime artifacts appears to be there.

I will request that the basis team install the service packs.

Hi Lukas,

Can you search the service from "add service" in the transaction /iwfnd/maint_service on GRC server?

If you can search it, issue is in your system alias definition on ERP server.

Yes!  Thansk Masa, I can see the service via the searching the Add service screen.

I will troubleshoot System Alias to see where it is going wrong.

Thanks for the Help!

Hi Lukas,

Please upload the system alias definition.

Is there IW_BEP in the GRC backend server?
