Different server can We use in sap B1

Hi,

We are using Sap B1 9.0 PL04 Version .

We plan to move the sap B1 in server 1  and Sql R2 standard 2008 install in server 2

Is it possible ? 

will it make any problem ?

I would like to improve my performance that is why we are choosing this way?

If i install above method will we meet any troubleshooting?

Hi Ramesh..

Yes, you can have 2 different server for the application and database..

It will not be problem.

Clean installation does not create any trouble. Regarding the performance it depends upon the transcation and server configurations..

It is the Client requirement they want the application and database into 2 different sever , no other specify reason behind it..
