which file to upload first Norm.xml or TXT.xml file first in GTS system

We get HTS code in xml file format, with NORM, DTR & TXT.

When we upload in the GTS system, the xml file, first which file to be upload, Norm or TXT file?

Dear Kiran,

it's neccessary to have all Norm in the system before TXT can be uploaded completely.

Most of the time you can upload both in one step. To be sure to have all texts in the system you can upload the txt-file separately in a second step.

Hi Kiran,

To upload duty rates, the transaction is a bit different. You can find it on the same Customs Management - Classification - master data screen or with TC:

/SAPSLL/TLC_CUSB_UPL

As duty rates are linked to tariff nomenclature, you need to have tariff codes loaded first..

Hi Kiran,

You can do the Nomenclature + Texts together. This also depends if you even need texts in some other language, depending on the data provider the English version is already included in the nomenclature file, can you check that ?

The DTR are duty rates, unless you need the duty calculation in your scenario you can ignore them..
