Individual an combined payment

Hello,

Is there someone who know the difference in FBZP ==> "payment method in company code" between the item "single payment for marked item" and "Extended indivual payment"?

If I would pay the items for some vendor as individual and some other as combined (according the setting in Master Data) should I have to flag the item "single payment for marked item" or "Extended indivual payment"?

Thank You

Hi ,

You will do F1 then you get the purpse of these

Indicator: Extended Individual Payment

The open items of a payment group are paid individually according to the rules. It is possible to include and offset all available credit memos for the payment group.

For individual payment (for designated items or according to the master record), however, only credit memos with invoice reference are offset, credit memos without invoice reference cannot be offset.

New payment groups can be formed in accordance with the following rules:

- Extended individual payment requires the separate payment of the items according to the payment direction. This can be vendor invoices for outgoing payments and customer invoices for incoming payments (F110), or corresponding payment requests (F111).

- Items with the opposite payment direction such as credit memos (F110) have to be offset with the other items.

- Invoice-related credit memos are always offset with the related invoice.

- Credit memos without invoice reference can be grouped together with any of the invoices for a payment group.

- Credit memos without invoice reference are as much as possible not grouped together with invoice-related credit memos.

- You may only include several invoices in one group for offsetting credit memos with high amounts.

- As few groups as possible are formed from credit memos without invoice reference.

You can create new payment groups in the steps briefly outlined below:

The first credit memos processed are those where the amount exceeds the amount of each invoice. The system then attempts to assign groups of credit memos to existing groups, or to form new payment groups from groups of credit memos and individual invoices. For any remaining credit memos and invoices, either new payment groups are then formed, or the remaining credit memos are assigned to an existing group.

The number of possible groupings of credit memos to invoices increases progressively with the number of items. Consequently, not all of these groupings can be checked. It is also possible that the algorithm implemented does not find a possible grouping.

Dependencies

Enhanced payment cannot be used together with a distribution amount.

The distribution takes place within a payment group. It is therefore not always possible to assign the credit memos within the payment group. If it is not possible to assign all credit memos within a payment group, then all items of this group are assigned to exceptions to preclude payments that are too high.

The indicator "Payment per Due Date" continues to have no effect, when enhanced individual payment is active.

Example

Invoice 1 : 250 USD

Invoice 2 : 1000 USD

Invoice 3 : 500 USD

Invoice 4 : 1000 USD

Invoice 5 : 1000 USD

Credit Memo 1 : 1000 USD

Credit Memo 2 : 500 USD

Credit Memo 3 : 750 USD

All items are contained in a payment group. The items are assigned as follows:

1. Invoice 2 with Credit Memo 1: Cleared to zero

2. Invoice 4 with Credit Memo 3: Payment 250 USD

3. Invoice 3 and Credit Memo 2: Cleared to zero

4. Invoice 1: Payment 250 USD

5. Invoice 5: Payment 1000 USD
