Hi Experts,

i am doing Managed system configuration but stuck on "step 8 - Configure Automatically" with below error.

My SOLMAN version is 71 SPS11.

Error while calling Diagnostics setup web service. Check note 1822831.

CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT : SOAP:1.007 SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 401 : Unauthorized")

CX_SOAP_FAILURE : Error when processing Web service call

CX_SOAP_CORE : Error when calling SOAP Runtime functions: SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 401 : Unauthorized")

I have check the note 1822831 but not help at all.

Also, i have tested the webservice connection with out issue and JAVA UME master client have set to client 100.

i have also able to login to http://localhost:50000 with user SM_INTERN_WS without issue.

Basically i have the same error for SAPRouter setup, Extractors Setup, Introscope Host Adapter and Generate System-level Metrics in this step 8.

It seen like authorization issue. But i have no idea where to verify the user id and authorization.

Kindly advise.

Thank you.

Hi All,

Thanks for the help. I have found out the error.

You have to use "Use Authentication via certificate" instead of using "Use Basis Authentication (user/password)" in step 5.4 Set Authentication Policy for Agent ( System Preparation).

Again thanks a lot for the help.

Hi Soon,

Have you created user SM_COLL_SID ??

Assign it full authorization for SPML.

Goto user admin of your target system, create a SPML role with Spml_Read_Action and Spml_Write_Action, also add some basic UME admin authorization to it.

Try Again.

Hi,

This user is created just before auto step and exists on java stack of managed system.

Check details tab on create user page.

Hallo,

Don't just create a user id.

Go through the configuration steps in Sol Man.

The user your Sol Man might be using might be different.

Check note 1822831 again, follow the checks regarding http 401.

Which users have you set up here.?

Regards,

Thomas.

Hi Thomas,

Yes, i have gone through the step by step for the configure steps also check 401 error (1822831).

But, seen still cannot find out the error cause.

However, i noticed that the user id SM_INTERN_WS always get locked in client 001 after some times. I have checked SM59, non of RFC is using this user.

Do you have any idea where to check ?

Thank you.

Hi Soon,

Please follow SAP Note   1837656 - Extractor Setup returns "CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT : SOAP:1.007 SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ...

Hope this will resolve your issue.

Hallo,

set up an authorisation trace in ST01 of the managed system.

Once the trace is running, execute you managed system setup again.

Review the trace in ST01 when the setup is finished (failed again).

The trace should tell you which user is performing the setup in the managed system and which authorisations the users is missing.

Regards,

Thomas.
