Need help - HTTPS port conversion in SAP Portal

Hi Team,

We have a requirement to expose portal over internet. Users should be able to access it outside client network through HTTPS. We are using EP 7.0.

Few users need to access it through client network, so they will be using URL as HTTP instead of HTTPS.

Portal HTTP URL :    http://xxxxxxxxxxxx:http-port/irj/portal

Portal HTTPS URL :  https://xxxxxxxxxxxx:http-port/irj/portal

HTTPS and port details are maintained in RZ10.

ITS, WAS and port number of back end system are changed to HTTPS in System Admin -> System Config.

Issue: EP applications are working fine with HTTPS URL but not working in HTTP URL.

Please let us know if anyone has faced similar issue or has worked on similar requirement.

hi,

you are maintained WAS in http AND http host name with port of http.(like8000)

you maintain ITS only in https AND https host name with port of https (like44300)

Search before posting. The resolution to your problem is to either use portal aliases and assign content respectively or use Dynamic System Resolution.
