Help with Launchpad Reference in PFCG Menu

Former Member

HI All,

There is a custom launchpad created in LPD_CUST . The intent is to have a PFCG role created to have the same menu and also at a later stage create a portal role importing the same backend role.

The issue is while trying to do so in PFCG > menu > Launchhpad Reference, its asking for Application id or Application Alias field and despite checking the "Show Application Id" in Extras > General Settings am unable to locate the same.

Also in application Alias when i enter a system alias it never gives any error and accepts whatever is entered(no F4 help) and the thus, created menu is obviously of no use.

1.  Any ideas how to get the Application id/Application Alias for the Launchpad role?(The instance of this launchpad role is menu).

Thanks for reading this.

Regards,

Vivek

Hello Vivek,

pls try Extras > Show Launchpad Attributes. There the last field: 'Textkey SAP' could be the Launchpad ID.

Hi Bernhard,

Thanks for your reply. However, unfortunately that is not the right solution. I had already tried that

Hi Vivek,

Please click on the specific app under the folder, then you can see the APP ID under the Description.
But seems you have to create the association in default programs control panel.
