Hi,

We are using Microsoft.net 2010 version to launch the SAP crystal reports version 2011.

We are using the runtime version 13.0 and downloaded from http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes_boj/sdn_oss_boj_b...

In that link we have choosed this option The 32 bit MSI file can be downloaded froher

It is working fine in 64 bit CITRIX server and WIN7 operating system.

But when we tried to use the same application in window 2003 CITRIX server, we are getting the below mentioned error.

An error has occurred while attempting to load the Crystal Reports run time..

Either the Crystal Reports registry key permissions are insufficient or the Crystal Reports runtime is not installed correctly..

Please install the appropriate Crystal Reports redistributable (CRRedist*.msi) that contains the version of the Crystal Reports runtime (x86, x64, or Itanium)  that is required.  Please go to http://www.businessobjects.com/support for more information.

Please let us know where i am doing the mistake.

Please let me know if required any more details. I have attached the error screen shot for your reference.  Crystal reports viewer is getting loaded.

For a 64 bit machine, when the app is compiled as X64 then 64 bit MSI should be installed.

Likewise, for a 32 bit machine, the app should be compiled as 32 bit (X86) and should be deployed with 32 bit MSI.

See the updated MSI here:

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-7824

The error is self explanatory and has been discussed many time on the forum. Please search, you woulod find plenty of articles.

The app could not find the appropriate runtimes.
