Issue Unit of Measurement

Hello,

We use Base unit of measurement (eg: Boxes) for all matls for Production....How do I proceed to also use "Issue unit of measurement(eg: cases) to be issued to production if the matl is is stored in the warehouse in boxes.....Need some help...

Hi,

maintain alternate unit of measure ( in your case it is Cases ) in material master in additional data in Units of Measure tab and maintain the conversion from Base UOM ( i.e. Boxes ) ..

In the Plant data / stor 1 view maintain Unit of Issue as Cases...

Thank you for the info...Will try that and revert but Can I maintain the Alternative unit of measure for an already created material where the Alternative UoM has not been maintained?
