isn't possible to download SAP GUI Linux version without SAP Service Marketplace login acct?

The application is actually called 'SAP GUI FOR JAVA' and requesting software tends to be frowned upon at the SCN.

Also keep in mind that if you aren't downloading it from SAP, someone could of infected the installation files and compromise your own PC or your SAP system.

You should either reach out to your Basis team or sign up to the service market as a contractor/consultant so you can gain access to the SAP GUI software.

I can get the installation number but i cannot registered due to the our SAP was provide by HQ.

Any way I can register without go through HQ?

Just for own knowledge and prepare for future migrate some OS to linux.

Hello,

you could register as customer on http://service.sap.com/request-user .

All you should need it an installation number of a SAP system you are connecting to.

To find this number, on mentioned page refer to

"(1)In an SAP system you can find your installation number under System -> Status".

My Basis team do not support for linux.

Any ideas how can I create a login acct as contractor or consultant?

I tried create a login acct with consultant relationship but still not able to login "SAP Service Marketplace"

My office is using SAP but the license was bought from headquarters..
