I wanted to know where can we manage the option for selecting the summation or overwrite option?

Hi,
select the transformaiton form data soruce to DSO.
open the transformation -> go to change mode -> select the KF -> right click -> go to rule details -> check the aggregation -> select summation or overwrite as per your requirmnets.
in DSO by default it is the OVERWRITE function.
please look at the screen shot.

we can do in DSO either summation and overwrite function at transformation.
please search in Google " DSO overwrite and summation function in sap bi".

Yes, manageable.
Create a dso based on your data source.
try to create transformations between source(data source) and DOS.
While mapping source field to target info object(key fig), check in rule details, you will find that options summation or overwrite.
