Error in RFC Connection "IMSDEAULT" in ERP system

Hi Experts,

While we are trying to create a Connector in ECC Server using Tcode --> esh_cockpit

facing an issue " Error in the RFC connection (CPIC-CALL (IMSDEFAULT) ".

When we have checked the IMSDEAULT Rfc in SM59 it is going into Dump.

System Details :

ECC      - ECC6 Ehp 7

Splevel  - SAP_BASIS 740 0004 SAPKB74004

Can you please let us know how to move forward.

Hi,

- Check if the destination hosts are maintained in host files and ports are opened between the   servers.

- Check for SM21 messages and correspondingly check dev_rfc<nr> where nr is number you get from sm21 under nr column.

- Also rfc error says "missing tp specification". Please check gateway security files reginfo and secinfo for the same.

Thanks for your quick response.. We have activated the ports and gateway hosts and services entries are correct..But still we are facing the same issue.
