ABUMN - Capitalization date is not equal to Ord Dep Starting date

Hi

After Transferring Asset Through  ABUMN system is to not updating capitalization date as Ord Dep Starting date, Kindly suggest me how can i solve this issue

Our Assets Original  Capitalization date is 03.05.2001, After transferring asset through ABUMN  System is showing  Ord Dep Starting date as 27/07/2014 (Its our posting date),

Hi ,

Its correct becuase for new asset Asset value date is your posting date and that is the First acquisition on date as well for your new asset .

SAP calcuate depreciation from the Asset value date which is First acquisition  date and capitalistion date as well. by default poting date is asset value date .

So if you want to it org. depreciation date 03.05.2001  then you need to change capitalisation manually in As02 .

The in our development system system is capturing Capitalization date as ordinary depreciation date

Did you enter the Asset value date as your org . dep in Dev system ..

Please check the yoour depreciation in Both system .

Dear Expert

While we creating Asset master we putting capitalization date due to some business requirement , in our development system  while transferring  asset system is updating the same capitalization date as Ord Depreciation Starting Date

HI ,

Please debugg your Dev system and this will tell you why and how system is defualting your ord dep date as capitslaisation. I believe there is difference between your dev and Live system .
